We have not had many drifters this season but we sure got one at the start today. A smallish end of season fleet turned out with seven boats rigging. Unfortunately just before we went out Sam realised that he had left his boom at home so the 505 packed up.
Pleasure & Pain were very keen at the start and were about 2 boat lengths over - individual recall was sounded and they went back to start properly. This didn't really matter much as the others had only moved a little.
The Sharpies showed their light breeze pace today with both Mainiac and Pleasure & Pain lapping all the other boats twice.
A bit of breeze ended up coming in for a while so the afternoon was not a total disaster. Well done to all who finished.
Pointscore results were Pleasure & Pain first, Mainiac second and Hydro Hooligan third.
Rod had some good news - he participated in the Victorian State Titles over Easter and finished 7th in the full rig Lasers - well done.
The pointscore season results now only contain the boats that have done enough races per the sailing instructions so points may have changed a little from last week.
